Marjorie’s latest “Hillcrest Happenings” column is available now at cleveland.com. Take a look and learn what events are going on in the Heights-Hillcrest area of Cleveland.

The comedic improv troupe Rockwell 9 has been accepted to play at the Del Close Marathon in New York City on Saturday, July 31st at 1:00 p.m. More details to come at www.delclosemarathon.com.

Marjorie is working on a review of Dobama Theatre’s production of “Humble Boy” (which incidentally lost power in the first act Friday night, regained power and went back on in less than five minutes). The review will just cover the actual production, but what a funny little moment that was.

Marjorie just wrapped three articles for Today’s Family Lake County and Today’s Family Eastern Cuyahoga:
1) Cain Park’s upcoming season (music, dance, theater, fine arts, the arts festival)
2) School of Rock (classes in rock music performance for kids/adults)
3) Kindermusik (kids’ music class)

Marjorie wrote about a local writers’ group and the search for the country’s best church choir for this week’s “Hillcrest Happenings” column available here.

Take a look for Marjorie’s next Sun Press and Sun Messenger column at your newsstand or check back at sunnews.com or cleveland.com within a few hours or days of Apr. 22 to see Marjorie’s “Hillcrest Happenings” column. If you’re going online, the easiest way to find it is to search on Marjorie Preston.

Her current column is still available here or at your local newsstand through Wednesday, April 14.

Marjorie just wrapped articles on:
1) Lantern Court, a historical building out at Holden Arboretum
2) The true cost of several sports parents might be wary of and how to save money on gear
3) Golf!
Check Today’s Family Lake County or Today’s Family Eastern Cuyahoga websites in the next week or two and check their websites to see where to get a print copy, too.
